Shocking news that “Maatran” has been copied from a Hollywood movie “Stuck on you”. Nowadays, Tamil Industry directors are not using their own ideas to direct the film, just giving rest to their mind by coping from others.
Suriya’s upcoming film Maatraan opposite sizzling Kajal Aggarwal and directed by K.V. Anand is said to be ‘loosely’ based on the 2003 Hollywood flick Stuck On You
whose script was also about conjoined twins directed by Farrelly
brothers. Anand, however insists that the script was borne out of a book
he had come across some time back during a journey.
Anand’s
earlier successful flicks such as Ayan and Ko were also said to be
‘loosely’ based on some English films. With Maatraan, Anand might even
end up scoring a hat-trick of hits but the ‘inspiration’ tag might not
desert him for now!

StuckOnYou movie has got nothing to do with Maattraan!
StuckOnYou was a movie that was released on the year 2003 and it was a comedy flick.Which is clearly not the case with Maattraan, as Maattraan is a serious action thriller, with very little scope of comedy.
And Stuck On You is a flick with two different actors who can easily stand next to each other.. While on Maatran its with the same actor who has to burden both the roles in an action thriller..not that easy.

One more reason is, Maattraan would most probably feature Surya as
conjoined twins for only a part of the movie, for the rest half they
would turn out to be enemies (They would be operated on and split) .
This is also confirmed as they used the unique PTC technology in the
climax sequences. To add to my support, official pictures from the
Maattraan team shows Surya in conjoined twins look as well as single
looks (song sequences and a charming young look with kajal agarwal).

Maattraan is not an easy film to produce, Covering Surya in two
different frames is an easy job, but as conjoined twins, its not easy.
Definitely not. Thanks to AGS Entertainment for helping with all their
support and K.V Anand for reaching great heights in Tamil cinema
industry.
One last thing for my fellow haters:
When your favorite hero remakes advertisements, movies and even
costumes from "telugu" movies, especially the kind of crap movies that
he acts. All he does in his movies is, 4 Masala Songs, with few
"So-called" comedy sequences, some really awkward, out-of-the world
stunt sequences (that's impossible to anyone in reality) and of-course,
look, you call those movies as "Awesome", BlockBuster Hit, massive hit
etc. Seriously, are you guys out of your minds ?
And when someone with a caliber like K.V.Anand, who has already given
awesome and sensible movies, had brought a mind-blowing one minute
teaser, that took the hell out of you. You guys are simply jealous of
the movie , aren't you ? :D (Think honestly).
What i am trying to convey through this post is,
"Never Judge a book by its cover"
Try to understand the hardwork put-in by the artists for a big movie such as this, instead of flaming out on others and creating a bad aura around the film.
